Why we started

Getting quotes for eco upgrades can be a headache. National comparison sites pass your details to whoever pays, and the phone can ring for weeks. We wanted something smaller and more local: a friendly service that only covers Dorset, only works with installers we know, and never sends your details to more than 3 of them.

What we promise

• No more than 3 installers. Your details go to a maximum of 3 installers who cover your postcode, and are never sold on.
• Checked installers. Installers in our network are MCS certified for what they fit, belong to a consumer code such as RECC or HIES, and are insured.
• No hard sell. Installers agree to give you honest advice and time to decide. If anyone pushes you, tell us.
• Honest numbers. Our costs and estimates are realistic ranges, not best case marketing figures.

How we make money

We are free for homeowners. Installers pay us a fee when we introduce an enquiry to them. That fee never changes the price you are quoted, and installers cannot pay to be sent more than their fair share of enquiries.

What we don't do

Green Squad doesn't install anything itself. The survey, quote, contract and guarantee are between you and the installer you choose.
